I feel like lately I've hit a wall. I feel very ready to come home in two months (which is crazy, only two months left) but at the same time I want to enjoy my brief time left in Europe. It's difficult with the workload and stress load lately but after seeing the movie Her tonight, I've had some sort of weird personal revelation and I really want to soak up as much of this experience as I can during these next few weeks. Amy Adams has this great line in the movie where she says, "I've just come to realize that we're only here briefly. And while I'm here, I wanna allow myself joy. So fuck it." This is my new mantra, both for my time left in Toulouse and hopefully beyond that.
Just wanted to say a quick hi, and tell you that I'm still here, despite the fact that I haven't posted lately. Been busy with homework and figuring out senior year at Dickinson. Yes you read that correctly. SENIOR YEAR OF COLLEGE.
